I am standing in my backyard on a gorgeous June morning, and I’m watering the foxgloves.
And I just wanted to talk to you a little about… taking a moment.
This morning when I brought the sprinkler out, and started watering, the sun was coming through the leaves, the sound of the sprinkler and the way the breeze was feeling… made me just want to sit down and absorb it… the whole feeling… the way everything looked… the way it smelled… everything.
All I’m saying is, as an artist… as a person really, if you could just grab those moments and try to absorb them.
Because they’re not things that happen that often.
We live these really hectic lives, always rushing around, and if we don’t try to soak those moments in, we won’t find that happiness that is out there for us all.
I think it will make you a better artist, too. Not only a happier person, but a better artist because you will be able to see things that you aren’t normally seeing.
So I just wanted you to enjoy this little moment with me.
00:00:03 –> 00:00:08 Hi guys, its Cindy Lietz, your Polymer Clay Tutor, and I am standing in my backyard here
00:00:08 –> 00:00:15 on a gorgeous June morning, and I’m watering the Foxgloves, and I just wanted to talk to
00:00:15 –> 00:00:20 you a little bit about taking a moment.
00:00:20 –> 00:00:25 This morning, when I brought the sprinkler out and I was starting watering, and the sun
00:00:25 –> 00:00:29 was coming through the leaves and just the sound of the sprinkler and the way the breeze
00:00:29 –> 00:00:37 was feeling, made me just wanna sit down and just absorb it, the whole feeling, the way
00:00:37 –> 00:00:40 everything looked, and the way it smelled and everything.
00:00:40 –> 00:00:49 So all I’m saying is that, as an artist, as a person really, if you just try to grab those
00:00:49 –> 00:00:57 moments and try to absorb them, because they’re not…we live these really hectic lives and
00:00:57 –> 00:01:01 we’re busy rushing around, and if we don’t take those few moments, we won’t be able to
00:01:01 –> 00:01:04 find that real happiness that’s out there for us all.
00:01:04 –> 00:01:10 And I think that it will make you a better artist too… not only a happier person but
00:01:10 –> 00:01:17 a better artist, because you’ll be able to see things that you aren’t normally seeing.
00:01:17 –> 00:01:24 So I just wanted you to enjoy this little moment with me, and we will see you next time.
00:01:24 –> 00:01:32 And don’t forget, if you have ideas or things that you need to learn more about, we probably
00:01:32 –> 00:01:36 already have a video on it, so you’ll wanna make sure to check and search through everything
00:01:36 –> 00:01:40 that we have and see if you can find the answers that you need.
00:01:40 –> 00:01:47 And if you have suggestions, things you’d like me to do, show you how to do, answers
00:01:47 –> 00:01:54 that you don’t have, anything, just put it in the suggestion box and…or in the comment

Sounds like you have some great plans for the future. I looked at my file and I go way back to 12, if possible I would prefer to get the “back door” videos. As a long time polymer user the earlier videos contained a lot of basic stuff. In advance I would like to thank you for ever thing.
I needed this reminder this morning. (:
Hi Cindy,
That was so beautifull to see you inthe garden.
Thank you for all the inspiration!
Rita.
Bless you Cindy, you truly are a caring person.
Thank you for reminding us to stop and take a deep breath. You are so caring………………….
Thank you Patt! :)
Well said, Cindy, thank you for the reminder. I love you foxglove. It’s too hot here in SE Washington for a garden full, so I have 1 in a pot by my front door. Enjoy them while they last.
Hi Mary, we filmed this at the very beginning of June, but it is getting pretty hot and dry around here too. In fact I haven’t watered since shooting this video, to conserve water and most everything is drying up and the grass has turned brown. So different than the June we had a couple of years ago that everyone was calling “June-uary” because it was so cold and rainy. I can’t complain, because it really is beautiful… but it would be good to get a little more rain.
cindy i have been looking for larger pendant backing that you insert your settings in they make
those so small do you know a web site or where to find them. at least 2.5′ in length
thank you
Terry Morris at EpoxyJewelry has some pretty large bezels you might want to check out June.
