Metallic Dots Color Palette-006 (Premo)
Includes 4 Premo Sculpey Color Recipes: — Minty Shimmer — Island Jewel — Caribbean Coast — Dragonfly.

** This post is an introduction to one of our paid color palettes.
When I saw this photo that Doug took of these cool metallic dots on the side of a building, I thought it was so cool!
There is just something so mesmerizing about these huge, Turquoise Blue dots. It’s like they are giant Dragonfly eyes peering down at you. Or the insides of enormous, shimmering, Blue shells. And look how the other buildings are reflected in each circle. Isn’t that almost futuristic looking?
So with all this inspiration, I decided to make a Metallic/Pearlescent color palette for you guys. Hope you enjoy it.
Minty Shimmer is the Silver Gray Mint color found near the bottom edge of the Metallic Dots. Island Jewel has hints of Turquoise and Pearl that could be found in a sparkling tropical Ocean, and is the highlight color on the disc. Caribbean Coast is a pearly soft Blue found on the lightest parts of the circles. And Dragonfly is the glistening Purple Blue found along the rim of the dots, but also in the eyes of a Dragonfly.

You know, if you ever decide to give up clay, you’d probably be very successful at Interior Design. Your color palettes are awesome.

An interesting thing has gradually been happening to me over the past 6 months, since I joined Cindy’s group. I’m beginning to appreciate colors that I always disliked before. This is something that never happened to me in over 20 years of decorative painting! I think it’s because of the way that Cindy groups the four colors together in such a pleasing combination.
