Hey guys… thought I’d share a quick post about this simple new Poppy Flower Bracelet. What I love most about it is the simplistic modern design. The colors are warm and rich. The shape is simple yet clearly representational of what the real poppy flower looks like.
I also love the whimsical side of these beads. The edges of the flowers are thin in some places and thick in others. Plus, the punch of black in the center defines it as a poppy blossom. The shape of the beads was achieved using the Studio by Sculpey Style and Detail Tools as well as the Studio by Sculpey Etch and Pearl Tools.
This bracelet was created using handmade copper jump rings and a beaded S-hook clasp, also made from copper. Each flower was attached to the bracelet like a charm, using hand wrought copper ball head pins.

I’d like to know where you got the Preserving Your Memories spray that you used. I’ve looked in three craft stores here and googled it online but haven’t found it. Maybe you said where in the video, but we’ve lost our sound (having it checked out) so I can’t go back and listen right now.

Yes, yes, a big yes for the poppy beads! Please show us how to make them! I just saw the bracelet in this week’s video and the poppies look spectacular. I love every new technique you come up with and this kind of video would be so helpful. Modeling is not my forte and seeing how you make sculptural beads just pushes me to go beyond my abilities. I also enjoyed the calla lily beads and the roses. Thank you, Cindy!
