As many of you know, I like to give away a big batch of my polymer clay beads every once in a while. All of the beads pictured on this page (above and below), will soon be packaged up with love, and sent off to one lucky winner.

By the way, the value of this bead prize package is around $100… so it really is worth your while to participate in this fun initiative. You still have a bit of time left to enter. But please be quick! I’d like to do the draw next week if possible.

Posted below are some close up shots of the beads in the prize package. You should be able to recognize many of the techniques I’ve been teaching each week in the video tutorials…

  • Photography is off the chain. Such a treat!

  • Peggy Barnes says:

I feel like I have come home for the holidays and all my siblings and cousins are here for the first time in ages. What a wonderful feeling that is. I know I don’t get a chance to drop in as much as I like but I am thrilled I decided to read this one today. Best of luck to all of you on winning Cindy’s wonderful beads. I am sure she would love to be able to give each and everyone of you a set. I think you all deserve them. This group has definitely got wonderful artistic talent. Why wouldn’t we when we are taught by the best and presented to us by the best. The Other half of the Lietz team. You know that very talented, very caring, very generous best TEAM out there.
Thanks Cindy and Doug and thanks to all my family for making this a much better day. Uuuuuuggggggggggggs to all, Peggy

  • @ Brenda – TY

Seriously though, I wish EVERYONE good luck on this drawing.

  • I’m a Leo so I can match “claw” for “claw”. :P

If memory serves, it was Carolyn F, it was right before we were to meet here in Philly.

  • Ken@ *caughs* I think you are out numbered sweety. I see the ladies getting their claws out *LOL*

BTW- Who did win them the last time? I know I post everything I had made from every tutorial hoping to win those beauties.

  • Hey, the prize went to a lady the last time. I think it should go to one of the male artists this time, sorry ladies but this is my time. :)

  • BTW I want to win those beads too. Too bad E, we will all be posting for ourselves. Hee Hee.

  • I wish I had looked at the blog yesterday! I can always use a laugh when I go to see the financial advisor. (The news was good, the portfolio is up) So I had a smile yesterday after all.

  • LMBO Elizabeth. I needed that and guess I really missed it too. You’re the best!!

  • Elizabeth, even if you don’t win the beads, I’m naming you winner of the funniest person of the day! Thanks to you and the others for making me smile. I miss these silly conversations.

  • Ok, Elizabeth, I think you should win just for that! I wish I could enter but I can’t upload any photos to Cindy’s FB page. Bummer! I kept trying for days and I finally gave up. Good luck everyone!

  • pollyanna says:

These beads are fabulous. I need to make something post worthy. Not just for my own enjoyment.

  • My comment was editied by the computers.

I can see it now, men in black knocking on Cindy’s door in the middle of the night [POOF!] we’d never see her again! :(

this is what was supposed to be said

  • Well we are sort of, we’re keeping it to Polymer Clay. :)

  • Elizabeth S. says:

BTW, I realize that we are off-topic a bit and I apologize to anyone who wishes it were not so. To be honest, I thought everyone would be so busy crediting me with all their work that there would be no time to post further comments on the blog. lol

I guess maybe in instigating this I’m trying to say that I miss the times when we laughed like this—-is there room for our commitment to stay on topic and still enjoy a good chuckle once in a while?

    • @Elizabeth S.: How can so much laughter hurt anyone? You’re just too much. Thanks for the return to wonderful days. Sorry I can’t change what isn’t there. Someday I may get to post at Facebook but its a ways off. Good luck to everyone who has posted. I really enjoy visiting the site from time to time. Just let me know ahead of time when you will be flying again…Love that baby, they’re little for such a short time. Oh yes, and the Mommie too.

    • @Elizabeth S.: Hehehe I LOVE and missed this sort of thing on the blog! Thanks for bringing back the humor Elizabeth. And thanks to everyone who chimed in!! :-D I can’t wait to see who wins the beads on this go round.

  • Lisa Whitham says:

@Cindy – Those beads are beautiful beyond words… Whoever wins them is going to be one lucky ducky..!!

    Peace, Love, & Clay,
    ~Lisa :)

  • Lisa Whitham says:

LMBO Elizabeth!!! Too cute…!! I needed a laugh today and thank you – you gave me that laugh…

    Still chuckling,
    ~Lisa :)

  • Agreed! We will all wear t-shirts with her smiling face on them that say “I’m a part of Cindy’s family”, walk through the airport security with sweet expressions on our faces and all will be well. : )

    • Elizabeth S. says:

@Maria: Maria, I think that’s a great idea! I nominate you to be the first to try it–let us know how it goes. lol

        • Elizabeth S. says:

@pollyanna: Me? Me? I’m not the one recommending that we try to go around airport security smiling with Cindy shirts on.

    • @Maria: I don’t think the shirts are a good idea, that’s the last thing we need, is for her/us to be branded a group of interest to watch, I can see it now, men in black knocking on Cindy’s door in the middle of the night we’d never see her again! :(

  • Personally, I don’t understand why I can’t use my tissue blades on the plane – sheeesh!

    • pollyanna says:

Really Maria…….do we look like terrorists?? I think we could get an excuse from Cindy that we’re with her group and all is well…..won’t they accept that?

  • pollyanna says:

What a novel idea…..lol. Are you sure that pasta machine didn’t hit YOU in the head during the turbulence? LOL

    • Phaedrakat says:

Funny post! I wasn’t rolling on the floor, but I cracked a smile for sure! :D Elizabeth S – hilarious as always (no, I really do NOT take you seriously on this matter, regardless of how much you protest!) And Pollyanna, VERY funny with with your remark about her “novel idea” (& questioning whether the PM might have hit E’s head, instead!) Not that E getting hit would be funny, mind you. I’d hate for anything to happen to our fun-loving comedienne — even tho’ she IS trying to snag Cindy’s amazing beads away from everyone!) ;D

It sure is nice to see so many posters today, and so much participation…Yay! Y’all are so funny… :D

Cindy, those beads are lovely! I look forward to seeing which of our very talented artists wins them!

  • Elizabeth S. says:

OK, here is the project of the day. It’s called “Help a poor but very deserving friend to win the beads”.

As you know, (I know everyone keeps up with every detail of my life because I’m so fascinating) I have not had much time recently to awe the art world with my pc creations. It’s that new grandson thing that has messed with my life—–it has made my daughter so neeeeedy for some reason. GEESH! I just don’t understand why she gets so tired especially when her only other responsibility is a two year old.

Anyway, I’ve spent lots of time on airplanes lately (oh I learned something–it is frowned upon to have a pasta machine on one’s seat back table during turbulence-something about it possibly becoming a projectile and killing someone). PALEEZE! What are the chances?

Ok, back to the POD. Because I AM such a fascinating person I know you ALL want me to win. Hence, here is your assignment. Retrieve any and all photos you have posted and change the caption. It can go something like this: “Dearest Cindy,I confess that although I took credit for this beautiful piece,(bead-whatever)–this is really the work of the fabulous pc artist Elizabeth S. Therefore, please give her full credit for creating and posting it, at least until after the contest. I EXPECT NO LESS THAN 100% PARTICIPATION!!!

    • @Elizabeth S.: Didn’t you have it clamped down? Sheeseh, SOME PEOPLE think they’re the only one’s on the plane. :)

got a good chuckle out of thatone

      • Elizabeth S. says:

        @Ken H: Ken,Ken, Ken,

Did you not see the F-A-S-C-I-N-A-T-I-N-G part of my post? In my world I WAS THE ONLY PERSON ON THE PLANE!

        • @Elizabeth S.: That was too Funny!!! The first time I ever flew was a few years ago. We went into a storm and it got very bumpy. We hit an air pocket, and we all went flying up to the ceiling of that plane. I even screamed *ROFL* When I came to my sences, I realized I had a death grip on the man next to me (A TOTAL STRANGER) *lol* I apologized and told him that it was my first flight. He was so nice. His comment was “thats quite alright :)

(Hint) I want to win Cindy’s Beads too…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

          • Elizabeth S. says:

@Brenda: Hey, if you think telling this sob story is gonna earn you sympathy so that you can win the beads—–no way, Sister!! I’ve got your number!!! lol

Seriously, were I in that situation the first time I flew I would have never been near a plane again. You must have been terrified.

          • @Elizabeth S.: It really happened. I flew again, but it was a couple of years later. Ifigured since plane topic was out their I figured I would share mine. No sympathy wanted here ;) Just those beads > )

    • @Elizabeth S.:
Hi Elizabeth S. and all, what a fun thing to find here when I came in just now.
You are so funny, you made my day.LOL. I hope you get your wish.I do love seeing all the work others put in the face book page, and believe me, I do all the tutes, but havent been very good at putting my efforts in, so must get going and put some in.
We are getting to the end of our teaching year here and I must confess I am looking forward to slowing down., as I can just do things for my self.
See you all with your work on the Face book wall
      love
      Elizabeth K. XXXX
